A lot of people who are dumb and also not smart or right like to say that violent videogames are causing an epidemic of youth violence in America. this interesting article (though somewhat inflammatory) talks about how much youth crime has in fact lessened since the release of the PlayStation in 1995. Correlation is not causation of course, but it does make the current discussions about the dangers of violent videogames seem even more ridiculous.
