So probably if you have a Mac like I do, you've gotten the new upgrade to OS X 10.5 Leopard by now. If not, well let me tell you it has some pretty great stuff. HOWEVER, I basically hate most of the cosmetic changes Apple made. Like they made the dock, you know that little app launcher thingy at the bottom, all shiny and weird. I found out though that you can replace some images deep in your system folder and change how it looks AS IF BY MAGIC.
Some people are making theirs look like tinted glass or wood or metal. Here's a screenshot of what I decided to do with my Leopard dock.
