Scientists Cheaply Replicate Photosynthesis

This is really cool assuming anything actually comes of it. Some researchers at MIT have been able to mimic photosynthesis with cheap materials at room temperature. Basically what this does is allow us to store the energy we get from solar power (or actually any power source) really efficiently and makes it so that solar power could actually be really viable, and not just in places that get tons of sun all the time or in controlled expensive lab conditions.
