So yeah, I saw Watchmen on Friday and I thought it was pretty awesome. It's maybe a little too violent, and there's nudity (male and female) if you care about that kind of thing, but overall it's a pretty great adaptation of a really awesome graphic novel. I had some minor quibbles with how they handled certain things, like I thought Veidt was oversimplified a bit, but I really don't get some of the negative reviews I've been seeing. They tend to say that the movie was laughably terrible, so I guess it's one of those love-it-or-hate-it kind of deals.
Anyway, I thought Rorschach was really well done, and they managed to get most of the essence of the book in there even though of course they had to leave a lot of things out.
